What you need to know about tear trough filler

Tear trough treatment targets one specific part of the face, the under eyes. It is a cosmetic procedure that involves placing dermal filler under the eyes to lift and plump hollow looking, sunken under eyes. As we age, due to the dip in collagen production our under eyes can become sunken and hollow as they lose their elasticity.

Dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, it’s a natural occurring substance that is also found in the body. It attracts water and plumps, restoring the youthful plumpness back into your under eye. Tear trough treatment will make you appear more awake and youthful. Tear trough filler is normally administered via a needle or cannula, it is non-invasive and has minimal downtime.

How does tear trough filler work?

Teosyal Redensity II is a brand of dermal filler that is specifically designed for tear trough treatment. It is a hyaluronic acid based filler, therefore has plumping and hydrating properties. It’s only used by medical professionals and is one of the best products for tear trough rejuvenation.

Teosyal Redensity II is formulated with a unique combination of hyaluronic acid, amino acids, vitamins, and antioxidants. These are intended to nourish and revitalise the delicate skin around the eyes. The hyaluronic acid in Teosyal Redensity II helps to add volume and hydration to the tear trough area, while the other ingredients will provide additional benefits like encouraging collagen production and improving overall skin quality.

The most commonly used fillers — including those at The Cosmetic Centre — are made from hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the skin that hydrates, plumps, and supports the tissues.

They also contain lidocaine to improve comfort during treatment.

Are They Reversible?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using a prescription enzyme called hyaluronidase. This is used in rare cases of complications such as:
