Skin boosters are quickly becoming many peoples go to for incredible skin rejuvenation results. With a long list of benefits and bursting with nutrients skin boosters are a fantastic option to achieve natural, healthy looking skin.

What are skin boosters?

The term skin boosters are used to describe a family of nourishing facial aesthetic treatments using hyaluronic acid as a base. When Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is injected into our skin, it promotes skin rejuvenation and hydration. HA is a superhero when it comes to stimulating collagen, as well as it’s incredible capacity to retain water, HA works hard to keep skin smooth, plumped up and improves skins texture. Roughly half of the natural hyaluronic acid found in our bodies is present in our skin, where it helps retain moisture. However, during the natural aging process where we’re exposed to sun, pollution and other toxins (tobacco, alcohol, sugar) HA decreases within the skin. This can present itself as tired/fatigued skin which is likely to sag and loose elasticity. In other words… in need of a boost!

As well as hyaluronic acid, skin boosters include a range of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to help volumise overall appearances and diminish fine lines and wrinkles, giving an overall softer more youthful look.
