We always recommend a course of 3 treatments of the beauty booster to achieve optimal results. Starting beauty boosters can also work as a preventative measure, to stop premature ageing and also stimulate your skin’s collagen production long term.
When you book in for a beauty booster, you will have a consultation with our skin clinician, where you can discuss skin concerns and goals. Once approved for the treatment you will be booked in for your appointment. 30 minutes before your treatment, we will administer a topical anesthetic across the treatment area to minimise any discomfort, this will be removed just before your treatment begins.
The way the device works is through a vacuum system, it draws the skin into the needle tips to ensure the solution is distributed evenly, maximising its effects in a short time period.
Afterward, you may experience some slight redness or bruising, particularly around the eye area, but this varies from client to client. Minor swelling may also occur, but this is less common and typically resolves within a day or 2.
This treatment’s longevity depends on whether you return for more than one treatment. With one solo treatment, you should see a difference in your skin for the next 3-6 months.
Side effects from this treatment are minimal, aside from slight redness, potential bruising and potential minor swelling.
Avoid applying makeup or heavy skincare products for up to 24 hours after treatment, and minimise touching the treatment area.
